In the morning, we will visit Walayar Dam, a popular picnic spot and a great place for nature lovers. You can enjoy boating in the dam's reservoir or simply take a peaceful walk in the surrounding gardens. Afternoon can be spent visiting the Palakkad Fort, located about 40 minutes (28 km) from the dam. Built by Haider Ali in the 18th century, it is a well-preserved fort with beautiful architecture. In the evening, let's head to the Dhoni Waterfalls, a 30-minute (17 km) drive from the fort. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and is a perfect place for some relaxation and photography.
On the second day, let's start by visiting the Malampuzha Dam, located about 20 minutes (12.4 km) from Walayar.
