A Nature Lover's Itinerary from Chennai to Bangalore

  1. Day 1: Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary

As the sun begins to set, make your way to the viewing tower for a spectacular view of the sanctuary.

  2. Day 2: Shivanasamudra Falls
    3 hours 30 minutes (135 miles) from Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary

    Today, you'll head to Shivanasamudra Falls, one of the most picturesque waterfalls in South India. In the morning, take a walk along the banks of the River Cauvery and enjoy the views of the surrounding forests and hills. In the afternoon, hike to the top of the falls for a panoramic view of the area. As the sun begins to set, head to the nearby town of Talakadu to explore its ancient temples and sand dunes.
