A 2-Day Itinerary for Nashik

  1. Day 1: Panchvati
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Nashik Road Railway Station

    Start your day by visiting the Kalaram Temple, a beautiful shrine dedicated to Lord Rama. After offering your prayers, head to Sita Gufa, a small cave where Sita is believed to have stayed during her exile. Next, visit the Ramkund, a holy tank where Lord Rama is said to have taken a bath. Later, head to the Pandavleni Caves, a group of 24 Buddhist caves carved out of the Pandavleni Hills. In the evening, visit the Sula Vineyards and enjoy a wine tour and tasting. End your day with a delicious meal at the Little Italy restaurant.

  2. Day 2: Trimbakeshwar
    1 hour (30 km) from Nashik City Centre

    Start your day early and head to Trimbakeshwar, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Attend the morning aarti and take a dip in the holy waters of the Godavari river. After breakfast, visit the Anjaneri Fort, a beautiful hill fort believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. Later, head to the Someshwar Waterfall and enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the lush greenery. In the evening, visit the Coin Museum and learn about the history of Indian currency. End your day with dinner at the Sadhana Restaurant.
