If you have more time, we recommend visiting the Hammock Beach Park several times as it has many trails, fishing areas and breathtaking views. In case you have less time, consider skipping the Onslow County Museum and from there head straight to Lywood Zoo. You can also extend your trip with more day trips to nearby destinations like Great Smoky Mountains National Park or Raleigh.
