Take a break from sightseeing and unwind at Széchenyi Thermal Bath, the largest medicinal bath in Europe. After relaxing, visit Heroes’ Square, a popular landmark where you can see statues of Hungary’s most prominent historical figures.
Explore the Jewish Quarter, home to significant Jewish landmarks such as the Great Synagogue and Holocaust Memorial Center. Afterwards, enjoy some traditional Jewish cuisine at one of the numerous restaurants in the area.
Start the day with a guided tour of Hungary’s stunning Parliament Building. Afterwards, take a short walk to Margaret Island, a tranquil green space located in the Danube River. Rent a bike or take a leisurely walk around the island’s paths.
End the trip by visiting Central Market Hall, where you can find a variety of local goods and souvenirs. Afterwards, hike up Gellért Hill to see the famous Liberty Statue and panoramic views of Budapest.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Budapest Zoo or taking a River Danube cruise to see the city from a different angle. If you have less time, you can combine Day 5 and Day 6 into one day, or skip visiting the Jewish district altogether.
