    30 minutes (15 miles) from Kalpetta

    Prepare to be mesmerized by the beauty of Soochipara Falls which is also known as Sentinel Rock Waterfalls. The waterfall cascades down from a height of 200 meters and is surrounded by lush greenery. There is a short trek required to reach the falls which makes it more adventurous and fun. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.

  2. 11:30 AM: Pookode Lake
    1 hour (20 miles) from Soochipara Falls

    Pookode Lake is a serene freshwater lake located in the Western Ghats. The lake is surrounded by forests and greenery and offers a peaceful atmosphere. You can go boating, walk along the lake, or just sit on the benches and enjoy the view. The lake also has an aquarium and a children's park.

  3. 1:30 PM: Lakkidi Viewpoint
    40 minutes (15 miles) from Pookode Lake

    Get a bird's eye view of the Western Ghats from the Lakkidi Viewpoint. The view is breathtaking and offers a panoramic view of the mountain range and the valley below.     40 minutes (15 miles) from Edakkal Caves

    End your day with a visit to the Banasura Sagar Dam which is the largest earthen dam in India. The dam is located in the midst of the Banasura hills and offers a spectacular view. You can go boating or take a speedboat ride in the dam. There are also several viewpoints from where you can enjoy the scenic beauty.
