2-Day Itinerary for Alibaug in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Alibaug Beach
    10 minutes (3.2 km) from Alibaug bus stand

    Start your day with a relaxing morning at Alibaug Beach. Take a stroll along the shoreline and admire the stunning views of the Arabian Sea. You can also indulge in some watersports activities such as jet skiing, banana boat ride or parasailing. For lunch, head towards Sanman Restaurant which serves delicious seafood. In the evening, visit the Kolaba Fort which is located in the middle of the sea and offers a glimpse into the rich history of the Marathas. If you're lucky, you might spot some dolphins on your way back.

  2. Day 2: Kanakeshwar Forest and Temple
    40 minutes (14.7 km) from Alibaug bus stand

    Start early and head towards the Kanakeshwar Forest and Temple. The temple is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a magnificent view of the Sahyadri Range. After seeking blessings, head towards Varsoli Beach for some fun in the sun. You can also visit the Karmarkar Museum which houses a collection of exquisite sculptures made by Karmarkar, a renowned artist. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll at the Versoli Beach and enjoy the sunset.

If you have an extra day, you can visit the Murud Janjira Fort which is an hour's drive from Alibaug. You can also explore the nearby villages and learn about the local culture. For adventure enthusiasts, you can go trekking in the nearby hills or take a boat ride to explore the sea.
