If you have extra time, consider taking a day trip to the Spice Plantations in Ponda or the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary in Chorao. You can also explore the Aguada Fort, Reis Magos Fort and Museum, or the Museum of Christian Art in Old Goa. To maximize your fun, try to travel during the monsoons, between June and September, when the landscape turns greener, and the waterfalls are in their full glory.
