Two Days in Sunkasale in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore Sunkasale's Nature

    In the morning, head to the Sunkasale Nature Reserve. Take a hike through the trails to see the diverse flora and fauna. You may see some of the endangered species that call the reserve home. In the afternoon, head to the Wat Phra Si Sanphet Temple to see its beautiful architecture and learn about its rich history. In the evening, take a stroll around the Night Bazaar and try some street food while shopping for souvenirs.

  2. Day 2: Learn About Sunkasale's Culture
    20 minutes (3.7 miles) from Sunkasale Nature Reserve

    In the morning, visit the National Museum to learn about Sunkasale's culture and history. The museum houses a collection of artifacts and exhibits that date back to the Ayutthaya period. Afterward, head to the Nakhon Pathom Chedi to see the tallest Buddhist stupa in the world. For lunch, try some local delicacies at the nearby Khrua Nakhon Restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Phra Pathom Chedi, one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in Thailand. In the evening, catch a traditional Thai dance performance at the Khlong Mahasawat Cultural Center.
