5-Day Itinerary for Dehradun, Nainital, Mussoorie, Kanatal, and Rishikesh in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Dehradun
    30 minutes (16.4 km) from Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun

    In the morning, visit the Robber's Cave, a natural cave formation where water appears out of nowhere. Afternoon can be spent at the Mindrolling Monastery, one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in India.   2. Day 2: Nainital

    Start the day with a serene boat ride at the Nainital Lake. In the afternoon, visit the Naina Devi Temple, a popular Hindu temple dedicated to goddess Naina Devi. End the day with a scenic cable car ride to the top of the Snow Viewpoint for a panoramic view of the Himalayas.

  3. Day 3: Mussoorie
