Start your adventure with a visit to one of Seychelles' most beautiful beaches, Beau Vallon. This long stretch of fine sand is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, and there's a variety of water sports to choose from. The beach is also dotted with local food vendors, offering a range of fresh seafood that you can enjoy while taking in the views of the turquoise water.
Explore the Veuve Nature Reserve, an important sanctuary for the endangered Seychelles black paradise flycatcher. Afterward, head to Jonhson's Point, where you can find a natural swimming pool, surrounded by granite boulders, and enjoy a sunrise or sunset view. At this location, you can also find a small beach and some hiking trails, offering spectacular views of the ocean.
Visit the gorgeous Anse Intendance beach, which is famous for its white sand, crystal clear water, and excellent waves. Engage yourself in Surfing, among the ancient granite boulders that stretch across the beach. Afterward, relax on the beach and watch the sunset while sipping on some fresh coconut water.
Take a trek through the Morne Seychellois National Park, which is home to Seychelles' highest point, the Morne Seychellois peak. The park is also rich in various birds, like the rare Seychelles bulbul, and other endemic species of flora and fauna. Stop by the Tea Factory and witness the tea-making process from the factory workers themselves. Don't forget to get some tea to bring back home!
Experience Seychelles' thriving marine life by scuba diving in the Sainte Anne Marine National Park. There are a wide variety of marine species that you can see, such as turtles, rays, and colorful fish. The park has several dive sites to choose from, catering to both beginners and advanced divers.
Take a day trip to La Digue Island, a charming island with fewer cars and more bicycles! Rent a bike and explore the island's picturesque villages, stunning coastal cliffs, and serene beaches. Among those, the most prominent and unique is Anse Source D'Argent Beach, which is famous for its giant boulders scattered all over the white sandy coast. Take a dip in the clear water, and make yourself comfortable, relax, and soak up the island's serenity before heading back home.
If you have more time, you can extend your adventure by visiting the island's other nature reserves or beaches. Seychelles is home to many unique animal species and offers various water activities like paddleboarding, fishing, etc. If you have less time, you can skip some of the attractions mentioned above, but we recommend giving it a try. Also, keep in mind that Seychelles has a humid climate and is more prone to rain, so it's always best to carry an umbrella or raincoat with you.
