Jammu & Kashmir 5-Day August 2023 Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Dal Lake
    25 minutes (10.6 km) from Srinagar International Airport

    Morning: Start your day with a relaxing shikara ride on the picturesque Dal Lake. The lake is surrounded by magnificent mountains and offers stunning views of the valley. You can also visit the floating market and try some local delicacies.

    Afternoon: Visit the Mughal Gardens which boast of beautiful flowerbeds, fountains and cascades. The gardens are a perfect reminder of the Mughal era and are well-maintained.

    Evening: End your day with a visit to the Hazratbal Shrine. The shrine is an important Muslim pilgrimage site and its white marble architecture is a sight to behold.

  2. Day 2: Sonamarg

  5. Day 5: Shankaracharya Temple

Recommendations
