  1. Day 1: Visit Dalhousie

    Afternoon: After lunch, head to the Kangra Fort Museum to learn about the history and culture of the Kangra district. The museum houses ancient artifacts, Pahari paintings, and sculptures.
    Evening: End the day by visiting the Masroor Rock Cut Temple, located 40 minutes (29.5 km) from the museum. The temple has 15 monolithic rock-cut temples and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Recommendations

If you have more time, consider visiting the McLeod Ganj, which is 9 km from Dharmshala. McLeod Ganj is the residence of the 14th Dalai Lama and is known for its Tibetan culture and handicrafts. You can also take a day trip to Palampur and explore the Tea Gardens and Saurabh Van Vihar.
