4-Day Honeymoon Itinerary in Goa - July 2023

  1. Day 1: Relax on Calangute Beach
    1-hour drive (24.9 km) from Goa International Airport

    Begin your honeymoon by relaxing on the famous Calangute Beach. In the morning, enjoy a romantic stroll on the beach and take in the beautiful sea view. Try out some of the beachside water activities in the afternoon like parasailing, jet skiing or banana boat ride. Enjoy the sunset over the Arabian Sea in the evening while sipping on your favorite cocktail at any of the shacks available at the beach.

  2. Day 2: Fort Aguada and Chapora Fort
    30 minutes drive (10.4 km) from Calangute Beach

    In the morning, visit the 17th century Fort Aguada which was built as a defense against the Dutch and the Marathas. Explore the place with your loved one and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of the Arabian Sea. For lunch, head to the nearby restaurants to try out some delicious seafood. In the afternoon, visit the Chapora Fort made popular by the Bollywood movie 'Dil Chahta Hai'. The fort offers a stunning view of the Vagator Beach and the Chapora River. Watch the sunset from the fort and later head to the nearby restaurants for dinner.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Waterfalls and Spice Plantation Tour
    2-hour drive (70 km) from Chapora Fort

    Embark on a full-day excursion to the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, also known as the Sea of Milk due to its white water cascades. Take a dip in the waterfall and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding you. After lunch, head to the spice plantation located nearby. Take a guided tour of the plantation and learn about the different spices grown in Goa. You can also enjoy a spice-infused lunch here. Return back to your hotel in the evening.

  4. Day 4: Old Goa and Panaji City
    30 minutes drive (11.7 km) from Calangute Beach

    Start your day by visiting the UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Goa. The place is famous for its magnificent churches like the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which houses the remains of St. Francis Xavier. Post lunch, head to Panaji, the capital city of Goa. Take a walk along the Latin Quarter of Fontainhas, characterized by its narrow lanes and colorful houses. Go for a romantic dinner cruise on the Mandovi River and enjoy the traditional Goan dance performances.
