Explore Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Baga Beach
    19 minutes (9.3 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your day at the famous Baga Beach, known for its nightlife and water sports activities. Take surfing, parasailing or banana boat rides, or just relax on the beach. Head to Britto's for lunch and try their seafood specialities. In the afternoon, visit the Saturday Night Market which has plenty of stalls selling handicrafts, spices, clothes and more. End the day with dinner at the Black Sheep Bistro, which serves modern Goan cuisine with a twist.

  2. Day 2: Chapora Fort and Anjuna Flea Market
    25 minutes (12.6 km) from Baga Beach

    Start your day early and head to Chapora Fort which offers stunning views of the Arabian sea and the surrounding areas. After spending some time at the fort, head to Curlies for breakfast and enjoy the beach view. In the afternoon, visit the famous Anjuna Flea Market and shop for souvenirs, clothes and jewellery. Have lunch at the German Bakery which serves delicious sandwiches and cakes. In the evening, visit the St. Anthony's church and attend the mass if interested. End the day with dinner at Gunpowder which serves traditional Goan food.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls and Spice Plantation Tour
    2 hours 20 minutes (78.4 km) from Anjuna Flea Market

    Start your day early and head to the Dudhsagar Falls, which is one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Take a dip in the refreshing waters and enjoy the scenic beauty. After spending some time at the falls, head to the Sahakari Spice Farm for a guided tour. Learn about the various spices grown in the region and enjoy a traditional Goan lunch. In the evening, head back to your hotel for some rest and relaxation.

  4. Day 4: Old Goa and Mangeshi Temple
    40 minutes (22.1 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your day by visiting the historic city of Old Goa, which was once the capital of Portuguese India. Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus and the Se Cathedral, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Have lunch at Viva Panjim which serves traditional Goan and Portuguese food. In the afternoon, visit the Mangeshi Temple which is one of the most famous temples in Goa. End the day with dinner at the Fisherman's Wharf which serves fresh seafood and has a beautiful view of the river.

Recommendations

If you have more time, consider visiting the Aguada Fort, the Reis Magos Fort or the Tito's Lane for some more nightlife options. You can also take a day trip to the beautiful Palolem Beach or the stunning Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. Make sure to try some Feni, the local alcoholic drink made from coconut or cashew fruit.
