4-Day Prague Itinerary for City Experiences in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Prague Castle
    20 minutes (2.5 miles) from Wenceslas Square

    In the morning, visit the largest castle complex in the world, Prague Castle, which has been the seat of Czech rulers for over a thousand years. Head to St. Vitus Cathedral for its stunning Gothic architecture and the Royal Palace for its historical significance. In the afternoon, stroll along the Golden Lane, a picturesque street that used to be home to goldsmiths and alchemists. In the evening, watch the changing of the guard ceremony.

  2. Day 2: Charles Bridge
    10 minutes (0.5 miles) from Old Town Square

    In the morning, walk along the iconic Charles Bridge that spans the Vltava River. Take in the stunning views of the river and the old town while admiring the baroque statues that line the bridge. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Municipal House, a stunning Art Nouveau building that houses a concert hall and several restaurants. In the evening, stroll along the Vltava River and enjoy the views of the city at night.

  4. Day 4: Letná Park
    25 minutes (2 miles) from Prague Castle

    In the morning, visit Letná Park, a large park on a hill overlooking the city. Enjoy the views of the city and take a walk along the tree-lined paths. Have lunch at one of the many outdoor cafes in the park. In the afternoon, visit the National Museum or the National Gallery. In the evening, head to one of the city's many breweries for a tasting of the famous Czech beer.

Don't miss the chance to visit the famous Dancing House building designed by Frank Gehry and Vlado Milunić. If you have time, take a day trip to the nearby town of Kutná Hora to see the famous Sedlec Ossuary.
