Exploring Dandeli in 3 Days

  1. Day 1: Visit Kali River
    15 minutes (7.5 km) from Dandeli City Center

    In the morning, head to the Kali River for a thrilling river rafting experience with stunning views of the lush green forests around.The Kali River is perfect for beginners and experts alike with rapids ranging from Grade 2 to 4.   2. Day 2: Explore the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary
    20 minutes (10 km) from Dandeli City Center

    Begin your day with a safari in the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary, home to several endangered species including tigers, black panthers, and elephants. After lunch, visit the Syntheri Rocks, a striking monolithic granite structure formed due to volcanic eruptions. Spend some time admiring the natural beauty and take a dip in the nearby natural pool. In the evening, visit the Ulavi Temple, a 900-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located deep inside the forest.

  3. Day 3: Visit Anshi National Park
    1 hour 20 minutes (56 km) from Dandeli City Center

    On your last day, take a trip to Anshi National Park, one of the largest protected areas in India. The park is home to an incredible variety of flora and fauna, including tigers, leopards, and black panthers. Take a guided trek or safari to explore the park and watch the wildlife in their natural habitat. After lunch, head to the Supa Dam, a magnificent structure on the Kali River. Take a leisurely walk along the dam and enjoy the scenic views. In the evening, head back to Dandeli.

If you have an extra day, consider visiting the Sykes Point, located about 22km from Dandeli. It offers a panoramic view of the valley below. You can also try Ziplining in the forests of Dandeli. To maximize your fun, plan your activities in advance, wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and carry a water bottle and sunscreen with you.
