For a more relaxed experience, consider staying overnight at one of the many beach resort hotels along the coast. If you have an extra full day, plan a visit to Prison Island, home to giant tortoises and a perfect place for snorkeling. On the other hand, if you’re running short on time then you can skip the Spice Plantation tour and instead spend more time at the beach or exploring the Stone Town markets.
