  1. Day 1: Visit Chikhaldara Wildlife Sanctuary
    20 minutes (5.5 km) from Chikaldara town

    The morning is the perfect time to visit the Chikhaldara Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy a serene and peaceful jungle safari as you explore the flora and fauna of this beautiful place. You can spot animals like tigers, panthers, sloth bears, bison, and more. In the afternoon, you can head to Gavilgad Fort that dates back to the 12th century. From the top of the fort, you can see a stunning view of the surrounding lush green hills. In the evening, relax at the Panchbol Point and enjoy the sunset while sipping on hot chai.

  2. Day 2: Visit Melghat Tiger Reserve
    1 hour (45 km) from Chikaldara town

    Start your day early by heading to the Melghat Tiger Reserve, one of the largest and oldest tiger reserves in India. Take a guided safari tour to explore the reserve and spot some tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and other wildlife. Alternatively, you could also opt for a bird watching tour in the beautiful reserve. In the afternoon, head to the Narnala Fort and explore the ancient fort and its history. End your day by unwinding at the Bir Lake, a serene lake surrounded by hills.
