Four Days in Goa: A Nature Lover's Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Dudhsagar Falls

    In the morning, we'll drive to one of the most spectacular waterfalls in India - Dudhsagar Falls. After reaching the entrance, we'll take a 1.5 km trek to the falls.   2. Day 2: Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary and Butterfly Conservatory

    In the morning, we'll visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary which is a paradise for bird watchers. You'll be able to spot some of the rarest bird species, including kingfishers, eagles, and peafowl. After lunch, we'll head to the Butterfly Conservatory, which is home to over 100 species of butterflies. You'll get a chance to see these beautiful creatures up close. We'll wrap up the day by taking a stroll on the Palolem Beach and enjoying some fresh seafood.

  3. Day 3: Mollem National Park and Tambdi Surla Temple
    1 hour 20 minutes (42.2 km) from Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary

    In the morning, we'll visit the Mollem National Park, which is home to a variety of flora and fauna. You can take a jeep safari to explore the park and see some of the rarest animals, including tigers, leopards, and sloth bears. After lunch, we'll visit the Tambdi Surla Temple, which is a 12th-century temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It's an architectural marvel and a peaceful place to relax. We'll wrap up the day by taking a dip in the Dudhsagar river and enjoying the sunset.

  4. Day 4: Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary and Palolem Beach
    40 minutes (20.3 km) from Tambdi Surla Temple

    In the morning, we'll visit the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to a variety of animals, including panthers, deer, and langurs. You can take a nature walk through the sanctuary or opt for a guided tour. After lunch, we'll head to the Palolem Beach, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa. You can relax on the beach or take a boat ride to spot some dolphins. We'll wrap up the day by enjoying some local street food and shopping at the Anjuna Flea Market.
