4-Day Itinerary for Goa in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada and Sinquerim Beach
    25 minutes (8.5 km) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, explore the historic Fort Aguada, built in the 17th century by the Portuguese to protect the coast from invading forces. The fort offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea and the Mandovi River. Afterward, head to Sinquerim Beach for an afternoon of sunbathing and water sports.   2. Day 2: Basilica of Bom Jesus and Fontainhas

    In the morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in Goa. The church holds the remains of Saint Francis Xavier and features stunning Baroque architecture.   3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Waterfalls and Spice Plantation

    In the morning, take a scenic drive to the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the natural pool at the base of the falls. In the afternoon, visit a spice plantation to learn about the different spices grown in Goa and enjoy a traditional lunch. Return to your hotel in the evening for some relaxation.

  4. Day 4: Anjuna Flea Market and Palolem Beach
    2 hours (70 km) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    In the morning, head to the Anjuna Flea Market to browse for souvenirs, clothes, and jewelry. Enjoy street food and live music as you explore the market. In the afternoon, head to Palolem Beach, known for its crystal-clear waters and golden sand. Take a boat ride to see dolphins or enjoy a yoga session on the beach. In the evening, enjoy a beachside dinner and watch the sunset over the Arabian Sea.
