Start your day early with a scenic drive to the top of the world-famous Haleakalā volcano, at over 10,000 feet above sea level, the highest point on Maui. You will experience breathtaking views of the sunrise and surrounding area as the sun emerges from behind the clouds. Take in the panoramic views and be sure to bring a jacket for the chilly weather. After leaving the park, Stop by the Kula Country Farms to have lunch and enjoy fruits, vegetables and coffee.
Start your morning off by exploring the Road to Hana, a scenic highway that winds through lush vegetation, waterfalls, and charming towns. Stop to take pictures at the Rainbow Eucalyptus trees, Ke’anae Arboretum and Nahiku Marketplace. Drive until you reach the beautiful Hamoa Beach, situated just off the road, and the perfect spot for snorkeling and relaxing. Spend some time here before heading back along the same route to enjoy the sunset with a cold drink at Mama’s Fish House, where you can delight with the taste of the freshest seafood caught right off Maui.
Start your day at Lahaina Historic Town and immerse yourself in Maui’s rich history, culture and art scene. Visit the historic sites, including the Whaling Museum and Lahaina Banyan Court Park. Shop at the art galleries and boutiques located on Front Street. After lunch, head north to Kaanapali Beach, rated among the best beaches in Maui, relax while admiring pristine water and white sand beaches. You can rent snorkeling and surfing equipment, or just unwind at the pool of your hotel.
If you have more time, consider booking a helicopter tour to get a bird's eye view of the island or a snorkeling trip at Molokini crater. Alternatively, if you only have two days on Maui, consider leaving out Lahaina Historic Town or driving only part of the Road to Hana.
