Begin your journey by visiting the Black Church, the largest Gothic church in Romania. Then, head over to the Council Square, one of the most beautiful squares in the country, and admire the colorful buildings surrounding it. Take a stroll down the picturesque Rope Street, the narrowest street in Europe. Finally, visit the Brasov Citadel and take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the city.
Start the day by exploring the Bran Castle, also known as "Dracula's Castle". Learn about its history and the legends surrounding it. Next, visit the Peles Castle, one of the most beautiful castles in Europe, located in the charming town of Sinaia. End the day with a visit to the Rasnov Fortress, perched on a hilltop overlooking the town of Rasnov.
Begin the day with a visit to Mount Tampa, a 960 meters-high mountain that offers stunning panoramic views over Brasov. Take the Tampa cable car for a quick and easy ascent to the top to enjoy the breathtaking views. If you're feeling more adventurous, you can also climb to the summit by foot. Afterwards, head to the Bear Sanctuary, a home to rescued bears that used to live in captivity. Finally, go on an adventurous ATV tour in the nearby forests and hills surrounding Brasov.
If you have more time, consider taking a day trip to the Libearty Bear Sanctuary or the scenic Piatra Craiului National Park. If you have less time, skip the Rasnov Fortress and/or the ATV tour. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as some areas require walking uphill. It's also recommended to bring a light jacket as the temperature can drop in the mountains.
