Begin your trip exploring San Sebastian’s Old Town, known as Parte Vieja, and its charming streets filled with pintxos bars and traditional shops. Marvel at the elegance of the Basilica de Santa Maria del Coro and the baroque architecture of Plaza de la Constitucion. Walk along the promenade to the port and delight yourself with the view of the Zurriola Bridge and the imposing Urgull Mountain.
Take the funicular up Monte Igueldo for stunning panoramic views over the city and La Concha bay. Then, head to Ondarreta Beach, the less crowded and quieter beach, perfect for a relaxing morning. Take a stroll along the elegant Paseo Nuevo and enjoy the view of Santa Clara Island before heading back to the city centre.
Spend your last day exploring La Concha Beach, considered one of the most beautiful urban beaches in Europe. During the morning, wander along its promenade and take on some of the water sports available such as kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding. In the afternoon, visit the San Sebastian Aquarium and discover the variety of marine species of the Bay of Biscay.
If you have more time, consider taking a day trip to the picturesque town of Zarautz, known for its long white sand beach and surf waves. For a less crowded beach experience, head to Playa de Gros or Zurriola Beach. If you have less time, consider combining Day 2 and 3 into one day, starting with Monte Igueldo and finishing with a sunset at La Concha Beach.
