Discovering Kainchi Dham in 3 Days

  1. Day 1: Kainchi Dham Temple
    35 minutes (15.4 km) from Haldwani

    Begin your trip with a visit to Kainchi Dham. This spiritual place is famous for its beliefs and energy, attracting tourists and devotees from all over the world. The peaceful environs of the temple, picturesque surroundings and its vibrating energy will certainly leave you refreshed and rejuvenated. Spend the afternoon exploring the temple and its meditation halls.The temple has an arrangement for prasad (Blessed food), so do taste it.

  2. Day 2: Bhowali and Nainital
    1 hour and 10 minutes (30.2 km) from Kainchi Dham

    Drive down to Bhowali, a small hill station, perfect for a morning breakfast. Take a stroll and enjoy the serene beauty of the hills. Next, head to Nainital and visit the Naini Lake (boating is available), the Mall Road and the Snow View Point for a panoramic view of the surrounding hills. Do try the Nainital Momos, and Tibetan cuisine in local cafes and restaurants.

  3. Day 3: Almora and Katarmal Sun Temple
    2 hours and 40 minutes (117.2 km) from Nainital

    Drive down to Almora, a beautiful hill station dotted with old temples, stone buildings and cobbled streets. Visit the Katarmal Sun Temple, an ancient temple built in the 9th century. After lunch, visit the Bright End Corner, a sunset point offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Do try the bal mithai, a local sweetmeat made with milk and jaggery.
