The LACMA is the largest art museum in the western United States, and its collection includes works from around the globe throughout history. You can see everything from ancient artifacts to contemporary art in a range of media. Don't miss the chance to snap a photo in front of the iconic Urban Light installation outside the museum - this sculpture consists of 202 restored street lamps from the 1920s and 1930s, and it's a popular spot for photos.
If you have extra time, consider visiting some of the other attractions in the Hollywood area, including Universal Studios and the Griffith Observatory. Alternatively, if you have less time, you may want to skip the Getty Center or LACMA and focus on spending more time at the other attractions.
