Start your trip off by exploring the charming streets of Old Town Kaleici. You'll find ancient Roman ruins, Ottoman-era buildings, and plenty of shops and restaurants. Be sure to stop by Hıdırlık Tower, which offers amazing views of the city and Mediterranean Sea.
Escape the city's heat and visit the stunning Duden Waterfalls. There are two sets of waterfalls, the upper falls where the river tumbles over a rocky cliff into a deep pool and the lower falls which also runs into the Mediterranean sea. Surrounding the waterfalls, there are many cafes and restaurants to have a relaxing lunch.
Perge is one of the best-preserved Roman cities in Turkey, with well-preserved amphitheaters, a stadium, and a bathhouse complex, etc. Stroll along the ancient colonnaded street, marvelling at the well-preserved ruins and intricate mosaics before taking a dip at Lara Beach.
Antalya Museum is a showcase of local history and culture, with exhibits ranging from prehistoric times to the Ottoman Empire, and a beautiful garden with mosaic paths and fountains. Spend some time relaxing at AliCabeach, one of Antalya's finest beaches, with crystal clear water and clean sand.
To end your trip, visit two more historical landmarks in Antalya; Hadrian's Gate and Hidirlik Tower. Hadrian's Gate is one of Antalya's most iconic landmarks, built in honor of the Roman Emperor Hadrian in the second century. A few blocks away, you can take the elevator up to Hidirlik Tower for panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the city.
If you have more time, travel to the nearby villages of Cirali and Olympos to explore Roman ruins and pretty beaches. If you have less time, you can skip the Antalya Museum and focus your time in the Old Town Kaleici.
