  1. Day 1: Mirabell Palace and Gardens
    Located in the city center (0.8 miles from the train station).
    Mirabell Palace and Gardens is a UNESCO World Heritage Site originally built in the 17th century. The beautiful Baroque-style gardens feature symmetrical lawns, flower beds, and fountains. The palace also houses the Salzburg municipal offices.

Also, note that most museums and attractions in Salzburg are closed on Mondays.
