Visit the picturesque island village of Sveti Stefan, a luxurious retreat with stunning beaches. You can take fantastic photos of the charming red-tiled roofs and enjoy a cup of coffee in one of its cafes.
Head over to Trg Sunca, a waterfront plaza and the heart of Petrovac. Here, you can see numerous artists selling their artwork and street musicians performing. You can also take advantage of the many shops or have a meal at one of the restaurants nearby.
Take a day trip to Skadar Lake, the largest lake in the Balkans known for its natural beauty and stunning scenery. You can book a boat tour to explore the lake and its many tiny islands or take a hike along its breathtaking trails.
If you have more time, consider visiting nearby towns such as Budva or Kotor to experience more of Montenegro’s rich culture and scenery. For shorter stays, consider subtracting Sveti Stefan or Skadar Lake from the itinerary as they require more travel time.
