Kazbegi National Park is a beautiful national park with a diverse landscape and wildlife. The Old Tbilisi District, also known as the Abanotubani district, is situated on the eastern bank of the Mtkvari River, and is brimming with charm and history. Here, you can find a plethora of restaurants serving traditional Georgian cuisine, such as khinkali (dumplings), khachapuri (cheese bread), and wine.
Narikala Fortress is a breathtaking ancient fortress that sits atop a hill overlooking the city of Tbilisi. The fortress was built in the 4th century, and the best way to reach it is by taking a cable car ride up the hill. This will give you the opportunity to see stunning views of Tbilisi.
Mtskheta is a beautiful ancient city and was once the capital of Georgia. You can visit the Jvari Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, one of the most sacred places in Georgia, where many Georgian kings are buried.
If you have more time, visit the Georgian National Museum to learn about Georgian history and culture, or the Open Air Museum to experience traditional Georgian life. If you have less time, skip the visit to Mtskheta and head back to Tbilisi for more sightseeing or shopping.
