Ballalarayana Durga Fort is a perfect location for adventure enthusiasts. Situated at an elevation of 1500 feet, the fort is an ideal location for trekking. It is believed to have been built by the Hoysala dynasty and offers a splendid view of the surrounding region, including the Kudremukh range. Trekking on the fort offers a beautiful view of the suave landscapes of the Western Ghats and gives an adrenaline rush with its steep and narrow approaches.
On the second day, experience the adventure of off-roading and jeep safari in the beautiful charmadi Ghat region. Enjoy the bumpy ride through narrow streams and dense forest trails. The adventurous ride of Jeep Safari will give a stunning view of evergreen forests, beautiful valleys, and the Western Ghats. A visit to this region is incomplete without experiencing the off-roading and jeep safari.
If you have more time, you can visit Kudremukh National Park or Dharmasthala. If you have less time, skip Ballalarayana Durga Fort, and head straight to Charmadi Ghat. The trekking and jeep safari are not advisable during monsoon, so it's better to check before going. Have an adventurous and safe trip!
