Exploring Scenic Malvan in 3 Days

  1. Day 1: Devbag Beach
    10 minutes (3.5 km) from Malvan bus station

    Begin your adventure with a visit to Devbag Beach, a serene spot with sparkling waters and golden sand. Spend a few hours lounging in the sun, swimming in the sea, or indulge in water sports such as jet skiing or banana boat rides. Be sure to catch the beautiful sunset and enjoy the beachside food stalls.

  2. Day 2: Sindhudurg Fort and Rock Garden
    20 minutes (9 km) from Devbag Beach

    Start your day early at the historic Sindhudurg Fort, an impressive 17th-century structure built by Shivaji Maharaj which houses temples, freshwater tanks, and stone carvings. Spend a couple of hours exploring its intricate architecture and learning about its history. Next, head to the nearby Rock Garden, a man-made park boasting sculptures carved out of rocks. Relax amid lush greenery, natural streams and waterfalls.

  3. Day 3: Tarkarli Beach and Tsunami Island
    15 minutes (5 km) from Rock Garden

    On your final day, visit Tarkarli Beach, a serene stretch of sand bordered by casuarina trees. Spend your morning indulging in water sports such as snorkelling, scuba diving, and parasailing. Enjoy lunch at a beachside restaurant and then head to the nearby Tsunami Island, a tiny strip of white sand which appears only during low tide. Walk around the island or indulge in water sports at its calm, clear waters.
