Upon arrival at Jammu Airport, head to Katra, where you can grab a bite to eat, check into a hotel and rest for the day.
Begin the trek to the holy shrine of Vaishno Devi where you will climb uphill on a paved path, passing views of scenic mountain ranges. Visit the cave shrine during Arati time, which takes place twice a day in the morning and evening.
Visit the Bhairavnath Temple located atop a hill and enjoy panoramic views of the valley below. Continue to Adkuwari Cave where the goddess Devi is believed to have meditated for nine months.
Take a scenic drive to Shivkhori Cave, where Lord Shiva is believed to have meditated. Afterward, visit the Nau Devi Temple, where nine different forms of goddess Durga are worshipped.
Take a leisurely drive to Patnitop and enjoy sightseeing, shopping and lunch. Afterward, visit the stunning Sanasar Lake and enjoy scenic walks by the lake.
Spend the morning at leisure & pack up from the hotel. Depart for the airport for your flight back.
If you have more time, you can explore the nearby hill stations like Pahalgam, Sonamarg or Gulmarg. In case you have fewer days, cut out Sanasar Lake and Nau Devi Temple.
