Goa 6-Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada and Sinquerim Beach

    Visit the Fort Aguada which was built by the Portuguese to protect Goa from outside attacks and offers panoramic sea views. After that head to Sinquerim Beach which is one of Goa's best stretch of sand and offers plenty of water sports and dining options.

  2. Day 2: Basilica of Bom Jesus and Old Goa

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls and Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary

    Experience the spectacular Dudhsagar Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India and surrounded by lush greenery. After that, head to the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary which is home to a variety of flora and fauna including deer, elephants and an array of bird species.

  4. Day 4: Palolem Beach and Chapora Fort

    Enjoy a day at the stunning Palolem Beach which is a crescent-shaped beach with serene waters and picturesque surroundings. In the evening visit the Chapora Fort, which was made famous by the movie Dil Chahta Hai and offers stunning sunset views of the sea.

  5. Day 5: Anjuna Market and Vagator Beach
    30 minutes (12.5km) from Chapora Fort

    Browse the colorful stalls of the Anjuna Market, which is open only on Wednesdays and offers a variety of souvenirs, clothes and jewelry. After that head to the Vagator Beach, which offers panoramic views of the sea and is a great spot for watching the sunset.

  6. Day 6: Fontainhas and Miramar Beach
    30 minutes (14.9km) from Vagator Beach

    Finish your trip by discovering the historic Latin quarter of Panaji called Fontainhas, which is known for its charming houses and colorful streets. End the day at the Miramar Beach which is a popular spot for locals to relax and watch the waves.

Useful Tips

If you have more time, add a trip to the spice plantations in Ponda and the beaches of Morjim and Ashwem. If you have less time, consider skipping the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary or the Anjuna Market. Make sure to check the opening and closing times of the places you plan to visit and avoid visiting beaches during monsoon season (June-September).
