Two-day Family-friendly Itinerary for Diveagar Beach

  1. Day 1: Diveagar Beach
    From 8 AM to 11 AM (1.5 hours via car) from Mumbai

    In the morning, take a scenic road trip from Mumbai to Diveagar Beach. The beach is perfect for all ages as the shallow waters make it safe for children to swim. Building sandcastles, playing frisbee, and simply basking in the sun are some of the popular activities here. Try and spot dolphins with a boat ride. The sunset at Diveagar beach is a must-see, sit by the bonfire as you enjoy the beautiful hues of the sky.

  2. Day 2: Suvarna Ganesh Temple and Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary
    From 7 AM to 2 PM (30 minutes from Diveagar Beach)

    The first stop of the day is Suvarna Ganesh Temple located in Nandgaon. This Ganesh temple is known for its golden idol of Lord Ganesha. After seeking blessings, hike to the Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary, which is a short drive away. Phansad is home to a wide range of flora and fauna, including leopards, barking deer, reptiles, and butterflies. Take a guide on a walking tour of the park to learn about the various plants and creatures. This is a great activity for both adults and kids alike.
