The Kailash and Kutumsar Caves are situated around 40 km from Jagdalpur. Kailash Cave is considered to be one of the best caves in India with unbelievable stalagmite formations and wonderful carvings. Kutumsar Cave is a smaller, more accessible cave but is no less interesting, with a subterranean river running through it.
The Bastar Palace is a fascinating example of the combined architectural styles of Bastar and British India. This palace once served as the residence for the Bastar kings.
