Useful Tips

If you have an extra day in Charleston, consider visiting the Fort Sumter National Monument. Also, be sure to bring sunscreen and comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking involved. If you have less time, consider skipping Boone Hall Plantation and instead opt for a visit to Rainbow Row, the historic pastel colored houses located on East Bay Street.
