4-Day Nature Itinerary for Kasol and Jibhi

  1. Day 1: Kasol
    From Chandigarh to Kasol (6 hours, 260 km)

    Begin your journey from Chandigarh to Kasol. Upon arrival, visit Kheerganga Trek (4-6 hours trek, entrance fee INR 100). It is one of the most beautiful treks in the region, offering mesmerising views of the Himalayas. After the trek, you can also visit Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara (free entry), which is just a short drive away. End the day with a peaceful stay in your hotel.

  2. Day 2: Tosh
    From Kasol to Tosh (1.5 hours, 20 km)

    Head to Tosh, which is a hidden gem in the Parvati Valley. Start the day with a visit to Tosh Village, which offers beautiful views of the mountains. Relax and explore the village at your own pace. Later, visit the Tosh Waterfall (free entry), which is a short hike away from the village. Enjoy the scenic views on your way back to your hotel in Tosh.

  3. Day 3: Jibhi
    From Tosh to Jibhi (5 hours, 100 km)

    Travel to Jibhi, which is a small village situated near the Tirthan Valley. Visit the famous Chaini Kothi (free entry), an old traditional building made entirely of wood, which was once used as a granary. You can also take a walk along the Jibhi Waterfall (free entry), a serene spot ideal for picnics, just a short drive from the village. Spend the night camping beside the river, enjoying the peacefulness of the area.

  4. Day 4: Serolsar Lake
    From Jibhi to Serolsar Lake (2 hours, 20 km)

    Start your day visiting the holy temple of Jalori Pass (free entry), known for its serene surroundings. After this, take a short hike to Serolsar Lake (free entry), which is surrounded by dense forests and offers stunning views of the lush green mountains. After this, head back to Chandigarh, taking lots of memories with you!

Useful Tips

If you have more time, you can add a day trip to Great Himalayan National Park (2-3 days trek, INR 500 entry fee). It is a world heritage site and is home to many rare species of birds and animals. If you have less time, you can skip a day in Tosh or Jibhi, but we highly recommend not missing any of these beautiful destinations!
