This day begins with a walk through the Ramkund, a holy tank where pilgrims take bath. After that, we move to the Kalaram Temple, which is famous for its 25-foot high black stone idol of Lord Rama. The Naroshankara Temple is our next destination. It is one of the oldest temples in the city, built in the Hemadpanthi style of architecture. The Trimbakeshwar Temple is a must-visit for those who are interested in ancient architecture. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India.
We'll begin day 2 with a trip to the Sula Vineyards. One of the oldest and most popular vineyards in India, this vineyard is famous for its wine tours and tastings. After the wine tasting, we visit the Pandavleni Caves. These caves are an architectural marvel, carved out of the basalt rocks in the 1st century AD. The Anjaneri Hills are a perfect destination for trekking enthusiasts. The hill station is famous for its lush greenery and scenic beauty.
If you have more time, you can add a visit to the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple, which is about 85 km from Nasik. If you have less time, you can skip the wine tasting at the Sula Vineyards. Don't forget to carry comfortable footwear as you'll be doing a lot of walking. Also, keep in mind that the temples have strict dress codes, so dress accordingly.
