If you have more time, you can visit the Bhimbetka Rock Shelters, which are located about 45 km from Bhopal and are home to ancient cave paintings. Another great place to visit is the Bhojpur Temple, a Shaivite temple known for its massive Shiva Lingam. If you have less time, you can skip the Moti Masjid and the Van Vihar National Park and spend more time at the Upper Lake. Don't forget to carry sunscreen, water, and comfortable shoes as you'll be doing a fair bit of walking.
