Family Fun in Dandeli: 3-Day Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary

    Start your trip with a visit to the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary to see some of the rarest species of animals in their natural habitat. Take a morning trek with an experienced guide and spot animals like the black panther, elephant, bison and more. End the day with a coracle ride along the Kali River and spot crocodiles and rare birds.

  2. Day 2: Kavala Caves & Syntheri Rocks
    40 minutes (15 miles) from Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary

    Explore the beautiful Kavala Caves that are made of volcanic rocks and have been formed over centuries. Spend an hour inside the cave and marvel at the rock patterns and formations. Then proceed towards the Syntheri Rocks that are unique for their geometry. Take a scenic drive through lush greenery to reach the rocks and take a dip in the nearby natural pool.

  3. Day 3: Kulgi Nature Camp
    20 minutes (7.3 miles) from Syntheri Rocks

    End your trip by camping at the Kulgi Nature Camp which offers a unique experience of staying amidst the forest with all amenities. Take an early morning jungle trek in the nearby areas that are known for their large variety of birds. Don't miss the elephant safari that starts at 10 am and spot the queer yet majestic creatures in their natural habitat.
