  1. Day 1: Koneswaram Temple

    Koneswaram Temple, famously known as the Temple of a Thousand Pillars, is located on a rocky promontory overlooking the Indian Ocean. The temple has a striking architecture and rich history dating back to the Cholas Dynasty.   2. Day 2: Pigeon Island National Park
    30 minutes (13.5 km) from Koneswaram Temple

    This beautiful national park is home to turquoise waters, white sands, and diverse marine life. Visitors can explore the coral reefs through diving, snorkeling or glass bottom boat rides. The island is also a sanctuary for many species of nesting birds. The park operates from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm during the dry season.

  3. Day 3: Kanniya Hot Springs
    20 minutes (7.4 km) from Pigeon Island National Park

    The Kanniya Hot Springs is a group of seven hot wells and is considered sacred by the locals. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing dip in the warm water and learn about the mythical origins of the springs. The site also features interesting rock formations, and nature trails. The site is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
