Begin your trip by exploring the beautiful Kabini Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including elephants, tigers, leopards, and many bird species. Take a guided jeep safari through the sanctuary to spot some of these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
Visit the Pykara Lake and Falls, a serene and picturesque location nestled in the Nilgiri Mountains. Take a boat ride on the lake and enjoy the scenic view of the surrounding hills. Don't forget to check out the beautiful Pykara waterfall, which falls from a height of 55 meters.
On Day 3, visit the Doddabetta Peak, which is the highest mountain in the Nilgiri Hills. Enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding landscape from the peak's observatory tower. Later, check out the nearby Botanical Gardens, which feature a wide variety of indigenous and exotic flowers, as well as several ferns and shrubs.
If you have more time, you can add a visit to the Mudumalai National Park or the Avalanche Lake. For a shorter trip, you can skip the Pykara Lake and Falls and spend more time at the Kabini Wildlife Sanctuary or Doddabetta Peak. Make sure to pack comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent for your wildlife safaris and outdoor activities.
