Start the day at the iconic Chichen Itza, one of Mexico's most popular tourist destinations. A UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its impressive Mayan ruins, including the Kukulkan Pyramid. Make sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen and wear comfortable footwear.
Located on the small island of Isla Mujeres, Playa Norte is said to be one of the best beaches in Mexico. Relax on the white sandy beaches and take a dip in the crystal clear blue waters. There are plenty of local restaurants and cafes nearby to grab a bite to eat.
The Cancun Underwater Museum is a unique experience that combines art and conservation. You can snorkel or dive among the over 500 underwater sculptures, each one with its own interesting story. The museum is a great activity to cool off and learn more about the attractions in Cancun.
If you have more time, you can also check out Xcaret Park, another popular attraction in the area that includes cultural exhibits, a beach, and several water activities. If you have less time, consider skipping Playa Norte and going straight to the Cancun Underwater Museum. Remember to bring sunglasses, hats, and other sun protection because Cancun can get very hot and sunny.
