Travel to the peaceful town of Kufri, surrounded by dense forests and snow-capped mountains. Explore the Himalayan Nature Park, home to over 180 varieties of flora and fauna, including the endangered Snow Leopards. Opt for a horseback ride to explore Kufri's surroundings or take a lift ride to Mahasu Peak for panoramic views of the Himalayas. End the day back in Shimla.
Drive to the serene town of Mashobra which boasts of lush green forests and beautiful landscapes. Wildflower Hall, for nature camping, is the perfect way to escape the rushing city life. Besides, the famous Naldehra Golf Course is waiting for you, surrounded by the Shivalik Ranges and lush greenery covering the fairways.
Begin the day with a visit to Chadwick Falls, a scenic waterfall plunged from a height of 1586 meters, an ideal spot for nature lovers and photo enthusiasts. Drive up to the Jakhu Temple, appearing to be a pandora's box for those with a keen interest in nature, religion, and history. Apart from being a religious attraction, it is also famous for its massive statue of Lord Hanuman and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
If you have an extra day, visit the Summer Hill or take the Toy Train from Shimla to Kalka and soak in the stunning vistas of the Himalayas and verdant valleys. If your stay is shorter, skip Mashobra and Naldehra and spend an extra day exploring Shimla and its surroundings.
