Start your trip with a relaxing day at the Murudeshwar Beach. Take a dip in the Arabian sea or lounge on the beach while sipping on coconut water. The beach is known for its panoramic views of the sunset and its cleanliness.
Explore the historic Murudeshwar Fort and the magnificent view of the coastline from its top. Later, take a 1-hour boat ride to the Netrani Island for snorkelling or scuba diving in crystal-clear waters, witnessing an array of marine life like butterflyfish, angelfish, and goatfish.
Visit the famous Shri Murdeshwar Temple and admire the grandeur of Lord Shiva's second tallest statue in the world. The temple also has an aquarium, whose beauty will bewitch you. Afterwards, head to the Statue Park, which has various statues and fountains that make for great photo opportunities.
If you have more time, go on a temple hopping spree, visit the Venu Gopal Swamy Temple and Kethapayya Narayan Temple. If you have less time, remove the Statue Park visit and spend more time on the beach or the fort. Remember to carry appropriate clothing and sunscreen for the beach activities, and comfortable footwear for hiking up to the fort. The best time to visit is from October to March when the weather is pleasant.
