Visit the famous Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The temple is located on the Garhwal Himalayan Range and can be reached by a trek of 16 kilometers from Gaurikund.
Take a trek to Vasuki Tal, a beautiful lake surrounded by snow-covered peaks. On the way, you'll come across a waterfall and pass through forests of rhododendrons.
Visit Gandhi Sarovar, a glacial lake named after Mahatma Gandhi. The lake offers stunning views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks.
Visit Sonprayag and take a dip in the holy waters of River Mandakini. The place is famous for the confluence of three rivers - Mandakini, Basuki, and Kedar Ganga.
Visit Gauri Kund, a sacred spot where Lord Shiva and Parvati are believed to have taken a bath before getting married. You can take a dip in the hot springs and also visit the Gauri Devi temple.
If you have more time, you can also visit the nearby town of Guptkashi and the Chandrashila peak. If you have less time, you can skip Gandhi Sarovar and spend more time at Kedarnath Temple and Sonprayag.
