    Start your day by exploring the ancient city of Leh. Visit the Leh Palace, a nine-storey Palace built in the 17th century by King Sengge Namgyal. Admire the breathtaking views of the city from the palace’s rooftop, and explore the museum showcasing the culture and history of Ladakh. Next, head to the Shanti Stupa, a white-domed Buddhist stupa built in 1991 by the Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu, Gyomyo Nakamura. It offers panoramic views of the city and the surrounding mountain range, making it a perfect spot to snap some pictures. End the day by wandering through the bustling Leh Bazaar. You’ll find traditional Ladakhi souvenirs like pashminas, handmade carpets, and colourful handicrafts.

    Head to the stunning Pangong Lake for the day. You’ll pass through picturesque villages and rugged terrain on your way to this stunning high-altitude lake, which offers shades of blue that change with the colour of the sky. On your way back, stop by the Hemis Monastery, the largest monastic institution in Ladakh, established in 1672. Take a guided tour of the monastery, watch traditional performances, and visit the fascinating museum showcasing ancient artefacts, thangkas, and murals. In the evening, head to the Thiksey Monastery, a stunning 12-storey structure resembling the Potala Palace in Lhasa. Marvel at the impressive Maitreya Buddha statue, explore the intricate murals, and catch the evening prayer ceremony.

However, If you have less time, we suggest visiting the Stok Palace Museum, which houses artefacts from the Namgyal dynasty, and Gurdwara Shri Pathar Sahib, a Sikh temple believed to be built by the first guru, Guru Nanak, during his travels.
