Unwind on one of Goa's most beautiful and serene beaches, Palolem Beach. This crescent-shaped beach is surrounded by palm trees and offers crystal clear waters perfect for lounging or swimming. Along the beach, you will find multiple shacks serving fresh seafood and cocktails to enjoy as you watch the sunset over the Arabian Sea.
Experience the natural beauty of Goa with a visit to the captivating Dudhsagar Falls. This four-tiered waterfall is set against a lush jungle backdrop and cascades into milky white waters. You can take a dip in the pool at the base of the falls or go on a trek through the surrounding forests. Please note that the falls may be closed during the monsoon season from June to September.
End your trip with some retail therapy at the famous Anjuna Beach Flea Market. Open every Wednesday, the market offers a diverse range of items including handicrafts, clothes, jewelry, and spices at bargain prices. Take a break from shopping and indulge in some local Goan delicacies like Vada-pav or Bebinca from one of the many food stalls.
If you have more time, consider adding a trip to the spice plantations in Ponda or the historic churches in Old Goa. If you have less time, skip the Anjuna Beach Flea market and visit the Aguada Fort. Don't forget to carry sunscreen, sunglasses and appropriate clothing for the humid weather. Additionally, avoid visiting Goa during the peak tourist season from December to January as it can get overcrowded and expensive.
