The sanctuary is open from October to March.
Nagarjuna Sagar Dam is one of the largest masonry dams in the world and the pride of Andhra Pradesh. Besides being a significant source of hydroelectric power, it also offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. You can also visit the nearby Nagarjuna Konda Buddhist Stupa, which is a significant archaeological site that dates back to the 3rd century B.C.
